What is JAMB?
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is an education agency approved by the Nigerian government as a Board to conduct matriculation examinations for entry into all colleges of education (COE), Polytechnics and Universities (both state and federal tertiary institutions) in the country.
JAMB is responsible for the admission of suitably qualified and eligible candidates into various courses approved by the NUC in all Nigerian tertiary institutions, according to the August 1988 Federal Executive Council amended decree No. 2 of 1978.
The major requirement for undergraduates seeking admission into any Nigeria Tertiary Institution is to excel in entrance Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score up to, or above the JAMB cut-off marks for admission. The UTME exercise is conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Is JAMB office in Lagos Open?
