After the announcement that WAEC GCE registration has officially commenced for 2023, the WAEC board also released the WAEC GCE registration closing date for WASSCE (private) making sure that candidates know when the GCE registration portal will be shut down for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Using this medium, I’d love to inform and notify members of the general public, especially candidates planning to register for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2023 – Second Series August/September, that the registration closing date has been announced.

When is WAEC GCE Registration Closing Date?
The closing date for the generation of PIN is Friday, October 13, 2023. The WASSCE registration for private candidates officially ends on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
All interested candidates should keep this in mind, as they budget their money for registration. As of the time of publishing this article, the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) board has not yet released any information or announcement regarding postponing the registration closing date.
